I too was on http://www.pp-international.net/ a couple of years ago when the first mentions of a Canadian Pirate Party emerged. I see a few names here now, and that makes me happy.

I've been interested in copyright and property laws for the last 20 years or so. For the last 10 years, I've been mostly involved with Free Software groups in Québec.

In 2005, I organized Copyright and you featuring Richard Stallman (FSF), Russell McOrmond (Digital Copyright Canada), Marcus Bornfreund (Creative Commons Canada) and a bunch of other people.

I live in Montréal, I speak French and English and continue to work on Free Software, mostly on the web side.
