Job Title: Research Committee Member

Responsible To: Committee Chair

Position Summary: To develop party strategy, research areas of direct connection to the Pirate Party of Canada (PPCA) and build a factual foundation.

Duties:

  • Research information on current events that relate to the PPCA
  • Research information related to PPCA goals and platform
  • Compile information into an easy to access database
  • Effectively communicate with other members of the committee
  • Provide updates to the general assembly on events and activities that relate to our platform

Qualifications:

  • Organizational Skills
  • Advanced Research Skills
  • Writing Skills

Time Commitment:

  • Varies, Most meetings are under 2-hours.
  • We request that if you commit, you do so for a minimum of 1-year

Comments:

  • Must have own internet access
