Job Title: Regional Protest Organizers
Responsible To: Shawn Vulliez
Position Summary: To plan, advertise and run protests related to PPCA core values on a regional level.
Duties:
- Plan regional protests
- Create local advertising materials to draw attention to protests
- Disperse advertising material
- Develop local/regional teams of volunteers excited to attend & run protests
- Effectively communicate with other regional protest organizers to coordinate protests nationally
- Obtain all required licenses for protests based upon location (in many cases, no license is necessary)
- Share all planning information with other PPCA organizers nationally through Wiki & Forums
- Contact local/regional organizations with interest in protest’s goals with invitations to participate
Qualifications:
- Organizational Skills
- Writing Skills
- Design & Advertising Skills an Asset
- Must be extremely passionate about Pirate Party core values
Time Commitment:
- Varies
- We request that if you commit, you do so for a minimum of 1-year
Comments:
- Must have own internet access
- Must have capability of filming or photographing the event for post-event wrap-ups via the PPCA website
