Job Title: Fundraising Chair

Responsible To: Public Relations Coordinator

Position Summary: To recruit members to the committee and develop legal ways to raise money for the Pirate Party of Canada

Duties:

  • Recruit members to the fundraising committee
  • Lead discussion of fundraising options
  • Research how fundraising options work under Election Canada Act
  • Develop fundraising materials
  • Working with the Promotion Committee, initiate fundraising events
  • Prepare a monthly report outlining progress of fundraising committee and recommendations for the monthly PR Team meeting
  • Attend a monthly PR Team meeting

Qualifications:

  • Be a member, in good standing, of the Pirate Party of Canada
  • Have a creative mind
  • Have experience in raising funds for organizations
  • Be interested in digital issues Have experience running a small group of 5-11 people
  • Be willing to prepare monthly reports on committee activities
  • Be willing & able to regularly attend the monthly PR Team meeting

Time Commitment:

  • We request that if you commit, you do so for a minimum of 1-year

Comments:
